What are your office hours?

Our regular office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. During tax season (January 25 – April 13) our office hours change to Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Please note that we DO NOT accept walk-ins. Please call the office to make an appointment at (714) 256-9621 or email the office at info@cpaoc.com.

I received a letter from the Internal Revenue Service/Franchise Tax Board, what should I do?

If you receive a letter from the IRS or FTB, please send us a copy so we can review it. Please be sure to send in ALL the pages of the notice. You can email, fax, or mail the notice you received to the office.

Do you accept payments over the phone?

We do accept payments over the phone, please call our office and have your card information ready. All major credit cards are accepted.

What do I need to bring to my tax appointment?

  • A copy of last years tax returns, if not prepared by this office
  • Form(s) W-2 (wages, etc.)
  • Form(s) 1099 (interest, dividends, etc.)
  • Schedule(s) K-1 (income/loss from partnerships, S corporations, etc.)
  • Form(s) 1098 (mortgage interest) and property tax statements
  • Brokerage statements from stock, bond or other investment transactions
  • Closing statements pertaining to real estate transactions
  • All other supporting documents (schedules, checkbooks, etc.)
  • Any tax notices received from the IRS or other taxing authorities

I received a call from the IRS saying I owed money and they’re going to sue me, is this normal?

No. This is a scam call. The IRS will never call you initially, they will always send notices via mail. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE OUT ANY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION.

Can I drop off my tax information or missing information when your office is closed?

Yes. We have a mail slot located to the right of the door. The drop-off area is checked daily.

Do I need to make an appointment to get my taxes prepared?

If you are a new client we would recommend making an appointment so we can go over your returns. Please call the office to make an appointment at (714) 256-9621 or email the office at info@cpaoc.com

If you are one of current clients you do not need to make an appointment. Your tax appointment will be automatically scheduled for you. Please keep an eye out for the yearly organizer we mail out, it will include your appointment date. If you do not want to come in for an appointment you have the option to mail or email all your documents to the office. We will prepare the return and mail it out to you for review.

How can we register for your secure client portal?

Please send an email to info@cpaoc.com and request to be added to the client portal. We will then send you a registration link. After you have registered, you will be able to log in on our website at any time.
